Lord, on this 101st anniversary of the armistice, we pray that you will encourage our elected leaders to keep pursuing the cause of peace. May the day soon come when your will is fully done on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Lord, we confess that we are distraught at the thought of war. Today we remember the sacrifice of all those who laid down their lives for our freedom. Lord, may we remember them, always.
Lord, we pray your blessing on St. Anne’s Episcopal Church today. Would you build up every member of St. Anne’s through the power of your Holy Spirit, and unite them as one body in Christ. Amen.

Lord, we thank you today for crisp and cool autumn mornings, for leaves turning colour and falling to the ground, for the warmth and comfort of coming home in the evening.
